Well, we finally kicked our butts into high gear and got the landscape stone put down in our front landscape. We also added a couple of Pyramidal Boxwood shrubs right on the sides of the garage doors. The stone went in better than expected because it is a sort of lightweight stone that is half the weight of regular stone, so much easier to shovel! I also added some Mini Bee Lily flowers that I found at Lowes. Love how their yellow goes well with the pink knock-out roses. Here are a few pictures:
Love that hanging basket I found at Menards for a great price!
I think the contrast of the black stone against the red brick and gray siding looks so awesome! We are very happy with the way it turned out. Now it is time to move onto the rest of our outdoor checklist which includes a fence and finishing up the deck completely!
"Decorate Purposefully, DIY Frugally" is my motto for helping turn our newly constructed house into a home. This is where I document the home projects my fiance and I are tackling along with our fur-baby bulldog!
