I thought it would be cool to post up pictures of the Christmas decor in our home each year to see how it changes (or doesn't) over time! This year we purchased a new faux Christmas tree, due to the real tree fiasco we had last year. Not a single needle was left on our Frasier fir at the end of the season...they were all on the floor! You would hear needles twinkling off the tree onto the carpet as you walked by or breathed on the tree or really even if you just looked at it, the needles would fall off! Ha! So, I love our new flocked tree this year. We got it for a reasonable price at Menards. Without further adieu, the rest of the pictures!
Below is our little cabinet in the foyer:
Looking into the foyer from the living room. The large octagonal mirror was my favorite estate sale find ever!
The little reindeer on the door came from Homegoods. The pinecones were found at the Christmas tree farm last year.
This is a mirrored tray that sits on the coffee table:
This small tree used to be my Nana's, so I kept all of the ornaments on it that she used to put on it!
The top right picture I included in the first image in this post is a peak of what I have in the den, which I will get posted up sometime next week!
"Decorate Purposefully, DIY Frugally" is my motto for helping turn our newly constructed house into a home. This is where I document the home projects my fiance and I are tackling along with our fur-baby bulldog!
